I thought I would start a new topic to add bugs too.

I have an issue I guess from saving the Network config too many times. When I try to save it now... I get the following error...

Applescript Error:

2010-02-04 15:51:03.553 defaults[50487:60f] Could not write domain com.PKGImage; exiting (1)

I found the plist and deleted it... then reloaded PKGImage... it worked fine after that.

Also, refresh hangs the system for a minute+. I know it's Beta, I am just doing my part to help.

Hi Tense

Yes I have removed the ASR build...

It can be put back in ... at the moment it is just hiding +:Very Happy=+::D

I felt with the tools that are available today that the need to provide this has sort of diminished ... am I wrong??

The refresh is not quite up to date ... it still loads some legacy code that need to be picked out...

It also does not do a very good job of refreshing +:Confused=+::? ... should be fixed by next week...

Thank you for testing .... PKGClient should also be out in the beta 2 next week...

Have you tested the binding function?

What do you think of the overall changes / direction?

I will have a look into the saving error...

Dominic

Okay, I am still getting kernal panics every time a create a new Netboot image.... I know I was supposed to give you an image... But, I just have no idea how to give you an 8.6GB image... Unless you have an FTP...

I CAN make it work... by opening the old Netboot images and replacing the pkgImage app with the new one.. But, that doesn't really solve the problem with the creation of new Netboot images.

I am not at work, so this will have to wait till Monday. But, I will break it down again:

I had this problem with the last version 1.7.8 as well.

I am inserting the Snow Leopard ($29) DVD and selecting Netboot tab. Then, I am selecting it in the drop down menu...

I name the ID number (1099) or whatever.... and I go.

When I try to boot it (Netboot - Snow Leopard Server) it kernel panics with an problem with (don't quote.. I don't have the error here to write down) Power Management Module. IF I take my only working .NBI and replace the PKGImage app with the newest one it works fine. It's the creation of a new Netboot Disc using Snow Leopard.

I am also booting only Intel hardware of course.

I was supposed to provide you with an image... but, I really can't see anyway.. unless... I could stick it on a torrent site.. or an FTP. But, it will take a while by torrent. Only have a 18/2 line to work with (Can't use torrent at work).

Thanks again Dom
